When I heard about these, I just had to try them! Hair Chalks are a new type of temporary hair colour that come in a range of vibrant colours. I had never tried hair colour before, so when I got them I was a tiny bit sceptical. The
colours I received were teal and pink, but you can also get them in blue and red.
To apply them, I had to rub the chalk directly onto dry hair (I chose the teal chalk). Although on the back of the packaging, it did say the effect would be much better when applied to wet hair, but as I didn't have wet hair at the time, I stuck with dry hair. When I put it on my hair, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The colour came out much better than I had expected and the result was fantastic! Only a few rubs of the chalk was needed to create a vibrant colour.
The packaging was simple and easy to open and was designed/aimed at especially for teens.
The colours are perfect if you are going to be a rocker chick this summer! Although I would definitely recommend these to anyone, even if you are just heading to school or for a day in town,as the colours really add a touch of "wow" to any outfit. Another good fact is they wash out.
The cons of these chalks is they can become messy quite easily so I wouldn't recommend wearing nice clothes, while applying them. Also, depending how dark you make the chalk on the hair, it might take a few washes before the chalk is completely gone.

Overall, these hair chalks, in my opinion, are a very worthwhile purchase. The amazon price for these, are £4:99 per chalk and a pack of two coming in at around £7.99-£10.00. I think these chalks are a very good value for money and I will be definitely using these again.
*Notice: I will be adding photos from my camera for future posts, but they wouldn't upload today.

I bought some hair chalk before but it didn't really show up on my dark hair which was a pain but I'm sure it looked lovely on you :)
